I love these collabs, they're probably the only ones that catch my attention and I fully watch them before hitting the big red X :D
Great job by all guys, they were all hilarious, keep making flashes and don't give up.

Well done except for one thing.

I can see you spent some time on this and the result was good, except for one thing: the graphics! They looked like they were done by 4 year old. If you spent more time on the drawings, this would've gotten a much higher overall score.
Still, good job.

To a certain extent, the graphics were purposely bad.

Factor in the shakey hand, impatience and inexperience, then you have the end result.

Sorry to give you a 3 for style, but you need to be more creative.
I've seen tons of flashes like this...a short outtake-like scene, then the television fuzz, and then of the scenes. But I usually like flashes like this , but this one wasn't funny. I suggest you get a group of friends and write a script.

[A Lonely Christmas Tale]

Pretty good

I think it was pretty good- I voted 4- but here are some suggestions:

1. You should've taken more time drawing your character. It looked like you drew him in less than a minute.
2. You need a walking cycle. When the character walked, it looked like he was floating.

Other than that, this made me chuckle a couple of times...the Sega and like 10 trademark and copyright marks after it, and the giant television.

Could do better

Nice to see another episode, I hope you keep doing this and it turns into a big part of NG. But I was disappointed.
What this submission lacks is animation...well, they're comics, but still...you need more animation. It looks like you could've done better.
Another thing is that the graphics were very poor.
This is to the artists that appear in the submission: You have one whole week to do it..don't rush it. You have more than enough time to do better drawings.

I hope I see improvements next Sunday.

Eep.

Well, the animation will usually be minimal since they' animated comics and all. Use of VCam moves around the frames for us. I know I personally tried to fit as much animation as possible in my comic without it being a toon and I htought it cam eout pretty well.

As for graphics we actually thought it was as step up form last week, so that actually surprised me a bit.

We will keep releasing these, though. There's some exciting things on the horrizon for Sunday C&T!

And hanks for the HUGE compliment of hoping this becomes a big part of NG someday. That was awesome.

I loved this flash, I'll look forward to watching every one on Sundays.
Something I have to point out is that the quality of the comics were very mixed. Some of them were very good, while a couple were pretty bad.
I loved your part, RSQViper, I laughed when the rope appeared.
Overall, a very good submission, great job.

Yup, there was a large mix in the comics. I think they were all funny though and I was glad to have people pitch in.

Good graphics, but this didnt have much effort. The least you could've done was actually animate the explosion, instead of the sprite explosion that's been used in thousands of flashes.

Honest Review

I dont know how this passed judgment. Honestly, if your name werent SlashFirestorm, and you had not submitted this coauthoring AfroStud, this wouldnt have any chance in passing.

It had absolutely no animation, just bad text on a black background.
The graphics looked like they were done in Paint.
I advise you watch some tutorials, or even better, video tutorials.
You can improve a lot, if you try some actual animation.

Probably a combination of all that helped it pass. Slash Returns passed without a famous co-author, probably due to my reputation and the excellent music, lol.

Afro was coauthored because he has shown an interest in making an episode for the series. Plus his graphic skill is far superior to mine, lol.

I'm still practicing with true animation. Tweens are easy, but limited. FBF is hard as hell, but beautiful. I have no idea how the great authors pull it off, lol.

All pictures were done in Flash, and I'm finding Flash much easier to draw in than MS Paint...

My next goal for upcoming flash will be buttons, and trust me, I'll need to watch a lot of tuts for that, lol. I hate actionscript. Even the most basic of it...

I'm surprised you did something this good, I thought you sucked :D
I've never tried sprites so I dont know if they're super easy like some people say but it took you 3 days so you put a lot of effort.
